The coach question is not asked at FC Wacker yet

FC Wacker are in crisis after three defeats against Wolfsberg, Admira and Mattersburg.

Innsbruck – With the triple against the rivals at eye level – Wolfsberg, Admira and Mattersburg – the Black Greens wanted to say goodbye to the lower quarter of the twelve league. In the meantime, FC Wacker are penultimate, only one point ahead of Altach. Six points after nine rounds is the sobering result. The fact that record champion Rapid is only three points ahead of the Tyroleans is a small consolation. If the Hütteldorfers pulled the rip with the leave of coach Goran Djuricin, this variant is not yet an issue for FC Wacker.

“Definitely not. Move together and don’t let them divide apart. The situation is disappointing, that is clear to us. We will analyse that and address mistakes”, President Gerhard Stocker nips in the bud emerging speculations about his head coach. A meticulous analysis is already required: “Because series, no matter in which direction, are not based in football only on the factors luck or bad luck”.

The perfect transition to the bitter 1:2 defeat in Mattersburg. “The lads have bitten their opponents to the core. But in the end it wasn’t enough”, General Manager Alfred Hörtnagl was also annoyed about the feature film in the Poplar Stadium: “Assigning blame doesn’t bring anything. Moving closer together and forcing a sense of achievement is the motto.” LetsBet offers their players a variety of innovative features that give players a great casino experience.

In Mattersburg, it was a fact once again that FC Wacker lost the fruit of its hard work by dropping out – Stefan Meusburger’s emergency brake, Patrik Eler’s missed eleven and Christopher Knett’s mistake after René Renner’s corner. The coach also saw it that way: “At times you really believe you’re in the wrong film on the sidelines. Despite everything, even at the risk of repeating myself, I can’t make any big accusations. Ten of them fought until they dropped and then nothing looks out.” Lamenting isn’t Karl Daxbacher’s thing, the defeats don’t really speak for themselves: “The situation is the way it is and we have to face it professionally”.

Which will be difficult enough in the coming weeks. First, because the injury devil is raging again. Dominik Baumgartner and Zlatko Dedic were already out of action before the Mattersburg guest appearance, in the final training Christoph Freitag (muscle fibre rupture) was also caught. Stefan Rakowitz has a toe infection and Meusburger has a suspension from a compulsory game. Secondly, the upcoming program is difficult enough anyway. LASK, leader of the league Salzburg and runner-up Sturm Graz are the next tasks in the tipico Bundesliga. The draw for the cup final of theachtelfinale fit to the current Wacker-Lauf: After the Wiener Linien and Neusiedl, the Tyroleans have to eat kilometers again with the game in Hartberg. “Fortunately we have a good bus driver“, Daxbacher wrung a smile out of his face.
